#69 Live Episode with Josh Sillitoe
Monday Sep 07, 2020
Monday Sep 07, 2020
(LIVE EPISODE) We go live with Josh Sillitoe, a certified therapist, to answer questions from our listeners. Josh started our conversation by asking Eric & Adam how distance learning is going with our kids at home? That led us into a conversation about too much screen time with our kids. What amount of time do kids need between classes to give their eyes a rest? Is too much screen time and online connection with their teachers an effective way of teaching? Some of our listeners chime in with questions and experiences of their own to share with Josh. This episode has so much good information and helpful insight to give us all hope for the future after this pandemic. We hope you enjoy the show! Thank you so much for listening and sharing this podcast with others. If you feel like you need help or would like a one on one with Josh please contact him at www.sillitoetherapy.com

Ray Cheetany is a former punter/kicker in American Football, as well as an Internet Entrepreneur. He is best know for creating the sports social networking site, Rawteams.com, in 2010. Ray was an All-State at Linn-Mar High School in Iowa. He then played for a Junior College sports powerhouse at Iowa Central Community College before coming to our great city. He played at UNLV in the Las Vegas Bowl with the win over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Cheetany signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans. He is joined on the show with his cousin Conor. We talk about Ray's experience at UNLV and the Bowl game, and of course, Eric claimed to help them win by taunting the Razorbacks kick on the sidelines. Conor tells us about his college baseball experience and how youthful decisions lead him to make choices away from baseball and more into education. The conversation lead to talking about wether or not college players should get paid, Ray has the best idea about this issue! We had so much fun with these two guys, we hope you enjoy this show. Thank you so much for listening.

Monday Jul 27, 2020
We were so lucky to have a women’s basketball pioneer in our studio, Cardte Hicks. She played in the first women’s basketball league in America, the WBL. Cardte played for the San Francisco Pioneers, as well as in Europe from 1977-1980. The WBL disbanded after only 4 years. She returned to Europe to continue playing the sport she loved so much. That passion and love of the game drove her to tryout for an all mens team, where she played several games. Cardte was the first woman to dunk a basketball with 2 hands! Today, Cardte is a coach , motivational speaker , CEO/ Founder of a non-profit organization called The Legends Kids First, and much more to her community. Through love and kindness, she has helped so many youth find their potential in sports, and life in general. They say “it takes a village to raise a kid”, we are so grateful that Cardte is in our village. You will love her stories and feel he passion for the younger generation. We hope you enjoy the show!

We had so much fun with Ashlee & David Bunker in the studio. Ashlee is the founder of Amazing For The Soul. This group empowers women from all walks of life through events and trips. It gives our moms, wives, and all women in our lives a day off to go on day trips together on a party bus. They go to the beach or to Utah for shows. Ashlee, with the help of her husband, has found great joy in planning these events. They love helping these ladies who sometimes, with all their responsibilities, need this time with each other to just let loose, dance, meet new friends, and just have some time to recharge. This is an awesome group that helps so many women, you will be touched by the stories of gratitude from the women that go on these trips.
